The pandemic has furthered the digital divide between communities as school, work, and more shifted online. Families without internet access have struggled to keep up with the shift to virtual, and the Senate wants to do something about it. The long-awaited bipartisan infrastructure bill was finally passed Tuesday. In it, includes $14 billion to bring internet service to low-income households.
