Are You Headed to a Game Day Party or a Galentine’s Brunch?

In a shocking turn of events, Valentine’s Day falls one day after the “Big Guys Catching a Small Ball Game” this year. Both celebrations are known for egregious spending in the US.

This year, Americans are expected to spend nearly $24B on Valentine’s and $15B to deck their house for “Unnamed-Large-Sports-Game” themed parties.  Meanwhile, if you’re frustrated by the impact of inflation on chocolate prices, be glad your Valentine didn’t ask for a commercial. 30-second ad spots for the “Big Game” cost 20% more than last year.
