After a long day (or several!) of spending some quality no-so-socially-distanced time with family, you might be feeling worn out. Remember when we were young enough to meet up with friends at the bar on Thanksgiving Eve and get more basted than the turkey? Oh, how the times have changed. Sheesh.

We get it, the holidays can be both physically and mentally draining. Here are a few different ways to recover emotionally…and from that serious hangover.

  1. Relax with your favorite instrumental playlist – Vibe out to these instrumental covers or pretend you’re somewhere warm with rainforest soundscapes.
  2. Start planning your getaway strategy – If you live in the Midwest or are visiting family in the frozen tundra, it’s best to start scheming on how you’re going to leave so you don’t get guilt-tripped into staying until Christmas.
  3. Indulge in some retail therapy Stretch your thumbs before loading up your shopping carts with the hottest online Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
  4. Make an ASMR leftover video and go viral – Click at your own risk.
