PayPal Eyes Your Mood Board 

PayPal purportedly ponders purchasing Pinterest. According to Bloomberg, PayPal is exploring buying Pinterest for $45 billion. This purchase would be in line with the platform’s goal of becoming a one-stop-shop for online browsing and purchases.

The $45 billion buy would push mergers and acquisitions this year over 2007’s previous record of $4.11 trillion. Will PayPal purchases for burlap and Ball jars skyrocket in 2022? Only the future will tell.
