With the recent sweltering heat hitting Europe, many residents are starting to embrace the fantastic concept our Spaniard friends created – the siesta. Frequently common among laborers and those that work outside, the mid-day nap is gaining popularity across other parts of Europe. Take note, America!
The concept of siestas is controversial, with the former PM of Spain announcing plans to abolish them throughout the country.
