In what seems like an almost monthly occurrence now, Starbucks recently joined the corporate NFT bandwagon with this week’s announcement of their new NFT loyalty program and global digital community.
According to Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, “Imagine acquiring a new digital collectible from Starbucks, where that product also serves as your access pass to a global Starbucks community, one with engaging content experiences and collaboration all centered around coffee.”
Whether or not the ‘bucks will be able to recaffeinate a flatlining industry is anyone’s guess, however.
