El Salvador Announces Plan to Build a Geothermal-powered Bitcoin Hub

As news rises about the high rate of emissions and energy consumption that go into mining cryptocurrency, El Salvador’s president, Nayib Bukele, announced a plan to offer facilities for zero-emission bitcoin mining using geothermal energy from volcanoes.  

Is this what it’s like to have a millennial political leader? We’re looking forward to more 80s & 90s kids taking office in the next few years.
